St. Clare unveiled the Building Our Future Legacy capital campaign in May 2026.  The $5.5 million comprehensive capital campaign will support St. Clare with new energy efficient windows for the academic building, a new Early Learning Center, establishing athletic fields, and growing our endowment.  

Campaign Priorities

New Hurricane Rated Windows in the Academic Building
When Hurricanes Frances and Jeanne struck in 2004, the main school building lost its roof and suffered significant interior water damage through its windows. While the roof was replaced, the original windows remain vulnerable and continue to allow water intrusion during storms. New hurricane-rated windows will protect the building, improve energy efficiency, enhance security, and ensure the safety of our students and staff for decades to come.

Early Learning Center
Our Pre-K students are housed at the front of campus, separated from the main building, while our Kindergarten classes occupy portable structures that were never meant to be permanent. Neither setting was designed with our youngest learners in mind. A dedicated Early Learning Center will bring Pre-K and Kindergarten together in a purposefully designed, secure, and nurturing environment that fosters seamless transitions and deeper connection to the full school community.

Establish Athletic Fields
St. Clare's 13 sports teams currently have no usable on-campus fields, forcing all practices and games off-site at additional cost to student athletes and the school. Our campus includes undeveloped acreage with the potential to support a full-size multi-sport field, a dedicated practice field, and outdoor space for P.E. classes. Developing these fields will bring athletics home to St. Clare and provide every student with a top-tier experience that reflects the school's tradition of excellence.

Grow Our Endowment
A strong endowment provides the long-term financial foundation that allows St. Clare to sustain its mission independent of tuition revenue and annual fundraising cycles. Endowment income supports tuition assistance, faculty development, faith formation, and program enhancements — ensuring the school can serve diverse families and attract outstanding educators. Investing in our endowment today secures St. Clare's future for generations to come.

While the roots of St. Clare Parish and School date back to 1964, St. Clare was officially established as a parish in that year under the leadership of its founding pastor. The parish school opened shortly thereafter, guided by dedicated religious sisters and lay educators committed to faith-filled academic excellence.

Since its beginning, St. Clare has experienced tremendous growth in both church and school life. Today, we are blessed with a thriving community—and now is the time to announce our capital campaign, Building Our Future Legacy, to thoughtfully plan for the continued growth of our parish and school.

We invite you to join us in providing a warm, welcoming, and sacred space where parishioners can continue to grow in spirituality and faith. his campaign will begin with our Little Saints in the new Early Learning Center, continue with the development of our athletic complex, and establish the endowment, while also expanding learning environments where our students can grow in faith, flourish in academics, and serve others.

Heavenly Father,

We thank you for your blessings upon your St. Clare family. Guide our efforts through our capital campaign, “Building Our Future Legacy”. Give us the courage to live as St. Clare said, "Love God, serve God; everything is in that," for we humbly desire to be your faithful stewards.  

Bless those who give, those who plan, those who pray for, and those who carry out this effort. May our sacrifices today provide a lasting foundation for generations to learn, grow, and live out their Catholic faith. May all we do glorify you.
