1st–5th Grade

The lower school consists of grades 1st-5th. Students in these grades build a foundation for learning through memorization and the natural absorption of information. They learn the factual foundation of each subject, using songs, chants, and rhymes to help them enjoy the learning experience. Students master basic concepts through self-expression, self-discovery, and learning of facts, including learning the rules of phonics, spelling, and grammar.

In keeping with our mission, students are prepared academically, emotionally, physically, and socially to be the next generation of leaders in our global society.

At Saint Clare Catholic School, our Grades 1–5 program provides a solid foundation for academic, spiritual, and personal growth during these critical years.
