Some of our St. Clare Catholic School families may need financial aid to help them with tuition. St. Clare Catholic School offers the following opportunities for financial assistance: “FACTS Tuition Assistance” or “Step Up for Students.”
Step Up for Students
St. Clare Catholic School has been approved to participate in the Step-Up for Students Scholarship Program, which is available from the state of Florida to families in great financial need. Families can apply online at www.stepupforstudents.org (under the heading “Application News,” it will say “new students click here”). Continue to follow the online application instructions.
FACTS Tuition Assistance
St. Clare Catholic School has retained FACTS for families to apply for financial assistance. Families who have a financial need can now apply online https://factsmgt.com/parents/#financial-aid. The company will review the application and send us a recommendation, which we will review for tuition assistance for the school year. Applications must be submitted annually. *Please note that parents are required to apply for the Step Up for Students Scholarship before applying for FACTS Tuition Assistance.
Voluntary PreKindergarten Education Program
The voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (voucher) program is for four and five-year-olds who reside in Florida. Participating children must be four years of age on or before September 1. Parents can receive a voucher to enroll their child in the state’s voluntary prekindergarten (VPK) education program. This voucher amount varies and usually covers approximately 1/3 of St. Clare Catholic School Tuition. For more information please visit their online registration site, at https://www.elcpalmbeach.org/voluntary-prekindergarten-vpk. You will need proof of residence and your child’s birth certificate.
HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
Palm Beach Diocesan Council of Catholic Women Annual Scholarship
Each year, the Palm Beach Diocesan Council of Catholic Women is accepts applications for its Annual Scholarship Award. One thousand dollars is awarded to each of three Catholic, female, students graduating from eighth grade in the Diocese of Palm Beach who will attend a Catholic High School in the Diocese of Palm Beach in the fall. Applications may be obtained in your parish office or your Catholic school office. You can also download the application from the PBDCCW website at www.pbdccw.org.

If God has blessed you with financial well-being please consider a donation to St. Clare Catholic School this year to help families who currently having a hardship. If you are able to give a donation to help some of our families, please either call the office or send a donation to St. Clare Catholic School. It is both touching and rewarding that each school year donations are received from our school families in addition to outside sources that help the neediest in our school community.
