GRADES 6-8
Middle School at Saint Clare Catholic School
Saint Clare Catholic Middle School uses an interdisciplinary, team-teaching approach to prepare students for rigorous, college-preparatory coursework in high school and beyond. Along with strong foundations in Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts, students are enriched through specialty courses including Spanish, physical education, and fine arts (drama, chorus, and art).
Our one-to-one iPad program enhances learning across all subject areas, encouraging students to create, collaborate, communicate effectively, receive immediate feedback, and access a wide range of academic resources. Technology is thoughtfully integrated into projects and daily instruction to support critical thinking and real-world skills.
A Supportive & Challenging Learning Environment
Middle school is a time of significant physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth. At Saint Clare, our middle school framework provides multiple levels of structure and support to help students thrive during these important years.
Students rotate classrooms throughout the day for core subjects, including Religion, Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies, fostering independence and responsibility. Our rigorous curriculum offers **two levels of Math and Spanish—on grade level and accelerated—**allowing instruction to appropriately challenge and support each student.
A variety of educational technologies and learning platforms are used to support diverse learning styles, facilitate collaboration, and streamline assignment submission and feedback.
In addition to core academics, all middle school students participate in physical education and enrichment opportunities that promote balance, wellness, and personal growth.
Faith, Leadership & Service
Our Middle School team is committed to building strong relationships among students, teachers, families, and the wider community. Each year, students engage in meaningful service-learning projects, helping them grow as compassionate leaders who live their faith in action.
We intentionally guide students toward independence while encouraging them to rely on their faith and supportive adults for wisdom and guidance.
Religion
Religion is a daily and integral part of the Middle School curriculum at Saint Clare Catholic School. Our religious education program follows—and exceeds—Diocesan curriculum standards and utilizes the Sophia Institute Press series.
Students deepen their faith through weekly Mass attendance, sacramental preparation, prayer, and daily integration of Catholic values. At Saint Clare, faith is woven into all that we do, learn, and say.
We are not only preparing our students for high school—we are preparing them for Heaven.
