PRE-KINDERGARTEN
St. Clare Catholic School incorporates all domains of learning for the students in Pre-Kindergarten. Learning for the Pre-K student involves: social-emotional, cognitive, language, communication, and physical development. Our comprehensive curriculum integrates religion, math, language, and literacy skills through rich content in social studies, science, children’s literature, music and movement and hands-on learning materials. We expose our four-year-olds to our Fundations Phonics program , so they enter Kindergarten well-prepared.The Pre-Kindergarten teachers provide their students with a peaceful, safe, nurturing, engaging environment in which independence and learning are celebrated each day.
Pre-Kindergarten students participate in an enrichment class each day. These classes include Art, Music, P.E., Media, and Computer Lab. In addition, iPads and computers are available to students each week with age-appropriate activities that support learning.
