PHILOSOPHY

St. Clare School provides an environment to assist pupils in becoming responsible Christians.  The school realizes the four-fold purpose of Catholic education: message, community, service, and worship.  The administration, faculty, and staff believe that all children are unique individuals.  The school strives to motivate and guide all pupils to realize their fullest potential. St. Clare is committed to assisting parents in teaching Catholic traditions, morals and values.

  MISSION STATEMENT

St. Clare School shares the commitment of parents and the Catholic Church to communicate the example of Christ and model the gospel message.  The administration, faculty, and support staff are also dedicated to the development of each student spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially.

  OBJECTIVES

The faculty and staff at St. Clare School strive:

1.   To instill Christian values and build a community of faith.

2.   To demonstrate, by example, the Catholic faith in practice.

3.   To creatively involve parents in the educational process.

4.   To provide an atmosphere of trust while challenging students' abilities, responding to their needs, and helping them develop positive attitudes toward themselves and society.

5.   To help students develop self-discipline and an appreciation for their own rights and the rights of others.

6.   To expand the students' knowledge by providing a well-balanced curriculum while making each student aware of the religious, moral, social, and cultural issues associated with a global society.
